Plant Himalayense Pink in any reasonable garden soil. Plant Himalayense Pink at the recommended depth in sunny to partially shady areas. Himalayense Pink should not be allowed to dry out; in very dry summers make sure that Himalayense Pink are frequently watered.
Remove dead flower heads as they appear to encourage new growth. Cutting back old flowering stems keeps Himalayense Pink tidy and will encourage a further flush of flowers and will prevent over-seeding.
Divide clumps in early spring or late autumn. If supplied as bare roots please soak them for 12-18 hours (do not exceed 24 hours). This allows them to take up the maximum amount of water without doing any injury to the plant.
