My Amaryllis is not growing

These bulbs grow on their own without water or light, so our advice is to give the bulb a little tug to see if it has made any roots or if it has rotted in the soil, it will comes loose. Rotted will suggest overwatered and if there is any roots then you must stop watering completely, this will force the flower out.

The main reason for failure is overwatering at an early stage, so when you plant it, just give water once and then do not water again until you see the green tip appear at the top of the neck (not the leaves but tip of flower head). If the soil dries out before that time, water no more than once per week. And once you see the little tip, this is your queue to water it more often and rotate the pot daily so that the stalks grow straight.
