Also known as 'larkspur' it's a fine plant for the early summer border , the soft pink tones mellow in with the fresh green colours during the early summer months. The plants have tall spikes loaded with large wonderful flowers, cut back old spikes mid summer and they will flower again before the summer is over. Slugs adore Delphiniums so young tender plants need protection and as Delphiniums grow so tall they make need staking for support.
